Driver terms and conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU COMPLETE SIGN UP WITH LET CHAUFFEURS TO BE A DRIVER.
You give permission for Let Chauffeurs to text you with booking requests. booking requests can be 4, 8 or 12 hour shifts.
Nothing contained in these conditions shall be construed or have effect as constituting any relationship of employer and employee between Let Chauffeurs and the Driver. Drivers will at all times be independent contractors of Transportation Services.
To stop receiving job requests email Let Chauffeurs.
Nothing in these Conditions shall constitute the driver acting as an agent of Let Chauffeurs. The driver shall not have any right or power whatsoever to contract on behalf of Let Chauffeurs or bind Let Chauffeurs in any way in relation to third parties unless specifically authorised to do so. Only in respect of fees payable to driver for transportation services is Let Chauffeurs acting as a commercial agent of the driver and only for the purposes of U.K. payment services regulations.
You will receive £27.50 pence per hour for completion of a full shift.
It is your responsibility to complete shift at allocated time. No overtime is paid to drivers. Payment is made into your allocated bank account two days after service is completed.
When you agree via text to accept a booking you as the driver agree to arrive at destination 15 minutes before allocated booking.
You agree to meet and greet client at allocated time.
If client does not show at allocated time you will contact client via text, call or door number provided after 15 minutes.You will also notify Let Chauffeurs via text, email or call if there is a no show.
You agree to provide a door service. You will open and close passenger doors upon arrive of destination and when passenger is also entering the taxi.
Dress code applies to all jobs accepted. You as the driver agree to be smartly dressed during all accepted booking. No hats, baseball caps, flip flops or shorts to be worn during service with Let Chauffeurs
You agree to arrive at bookings in a clean taxi. Inside and outside of vehicle will be clean
You agree to drive safely and comfortably whilst transporting clients to their destination
In order to provide Transportation Services, you must
Hold an an All London taxi licence issued by TFL
have valid Insurance;
LEVC taxi plated
have a valid full UK drivers licence
You warrant that you will provide the Transportation Services in full conformity to the Minimum Requirements and shall not do anything in contravention of these requirements and/or which may threaten the validity of, or limit the cover provided by, such Minimum Requirements. In addition, you must only accept Orders that are in accordance with the conditions and requirements of your taxi licence,. You shall indemnify Let Chauffeurs, Let Chauffeurs’ service users and Customers against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and all other professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred arising out of, or in connection with, a breach by you.
If, during the provision of the Transportation Services, you are involved in an accident or you are involved in any incident involving a Customer, you must immediately notify Let Chauffeurs by telephone or email.
At all times when providing the Transportation Services, you acknowledge and warrant that you will comply with the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 (as amended) and any other Applicable Law. You acknowledge that as a requirement of your all London taxi licence you are required to be a "fit and proper person" and you agree that you will at all times maintain this status and not act in a manner that could reasonably be considered to be contrary to this requirement.
In order to allow you to provide the Transportation Services, Customer Personal Data may be transferred to you by Let Chauffeurs You must keep this Customer Personal Data safe and secure at all times and not allow access to any third parties to such information.
In order to allow Let Chauffeurs to provide booking Services, Let Chauffeurs will provide Customers with your information so that the Customer can identify you as the provider of Transportation Services. Let Chauffeurs shall provide Customers with your name, vehicle details including registration number, telephone number which may help the Customer to identify you. You confirm that you give your permission for Let Chauffeurs to transfer this information to the Customer.
Let Chauffeurs reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, alter, suspend or indefinitely your access to the website and disable your account with no notification.
Let Chauffeurs also is entitled to terminate its provision of booking Services to you, with immediate effect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law you acknowledge and agree that Let Chauffeurs will not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect or consequential losses or for any loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, loss of goodwill, wasted management and/or office time, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, (even if foreseeable) resulting from your transporting services.
Let Chauffeurs reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to vary these Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check the terms and conditions . You agree to the latest version by accepting each new booking via text. Let Chauffeurs shall not be required to provide you with any notification of any updates to its terms and conditions and you agree that it is your sole responsibility to check for any updates prior to the acceptance of each booking.
Nothing contained in these Conditions shall constitute a partnership or joint venture between the Driver and Let Chauffeurs
