PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BOOK WITH LET CHAUFFEURS FOR SERVICES. Completion of the booking, use of website and Service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE, YOU MUST NOT USE THE WEBSITE OR BOOK FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES WITH LET CHAUFFEURS.
LET Chauffeurs will not carry more passengers in taxis than the drivers insurance and license allows. The levc electric taxis are licenced to carry a maximum of six passengers. Please note a child counts as one passenger.
If you require to transport a wheelchair please specify this at the time of booking in the message box..
By placing a booking of service, you agree to be competent to enter into a contract under applicable laws, that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are minimum 18 years of age.
Contract shall commence on the date of booking. The ‘commencement date’ and, subject to earlier termination or cancellation as described in these terms and conditions shall continue to be in force for the term agreed at time of booking. You ensure that accurate details are provided as any subsequent change(s) after your confirmation are not always possible due to other commitments. You must provide LET Chauffeurs with complete, accurate, current, valid and true registration data.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of log in details and will be liable for all activities, transactions and any other misuse of the service that occurs through your account (whether initiated by you or any third party).
You must also notify LET Chauffeurs immediately if you cannot log in, you know of or suspect any unauthorised access or use of your log in data, login details or Account, or the security of your account has been compromised in any way.
All revised collection times must be confirmed by email with request for reply confirmation of it’s safe receipt from our company and we will confirm the re-scheduling of your booking. Email notice must be given for all amendments to LET Chauffeurs as soon as possible. All new bookings require minimum 48 hours notice and can be made up to 10 weeks in advance. We send all invoices and receipts via email or in PDF format with paper copies available on request.
All pick up and drop off locations are to be within London radius of M25. If you require transport outside of London you must notify LET Chauffeurs before booking is made. The driver may refuse destination if LET Chauffeurs are not notified before booking.
Passengers have up to 15 minutes after the booked time to enter the booked taxi. A ride is considered a no-show if the passenger has not shown up after 15 minutes at the requested pick up location without cancellation. If a customer does not show up, payment will be non-refundable
If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 48 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of all payments will be non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all payments will be non-refundable. For all bookings Let Chauffeurs requires full payment prior to the booking.
On your credit card statement you will be charged to Letchauffers.
The Customer agrees:
To pay all charges arising out of your use of the services which are in accordance with these terms and conditions.
To treat with respect and not be abusive or violent towards any drivers or other customers;
Not to consume alcohol while in a taxi and we /or the driver reserve the right to decline carriage to any person who, in our opinion, is intoxicated;
To be responsible at all times for your luggage and acknowledge that no liability is accepted for the loss or damage to any luggage that is transported;
It shall be for the Customer and/or the passenger(s) to ensure that valuable, unusual or any other items are covered by appropriate insurance.
LET Chauffeurs & driver will endeavour to return any goods that are left in the taxi to the customer as quickly as possible.
LET Chauffeurs shall not be liable for any damage, loss, costs, personal injury, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits, claims or expenses (whether foreseeable or not) incurred or suffered by the Customer or the passenger(s) by virtue of eventualities or occurrences acts or omissions including on the part of the driver outside of the reasonable control of LET Chauffeurs.
To wear, and to ensure that the passenger(s) wear, a seatbelt at all times whilst travelling in electric taxis
To indemnify LET Chauffeurs against any claims, costs, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and costs) that arise out of or in connection with a breach of these terms and conditions, any applicable law or your use or misuse of the website or the services;
You are not permitted to transport or cause the transportation of any illegal or dangerous goods. When using LET Chauffeurs services, you will not smoke inside the taxi, cause disturbance, discomfort, inconvenience or material damage, nor participate in any other illegal conduct, either in relation to the driver or any third-party.
To be liable for any soiling or damage to taxi caused by passengers travelling on a journey booked by the customer; In the event of a vehicle being soiled by a passenger the driver may request a ‘soiling charge’ of up to £90 depending on damage.
Any claim or complaint shall be notified by the customer to LET Chauffeurs within 3 days of the date of the relevant booking.
In the event of personal injury or death, LET Chauffeurs aggregate liability arising from or in connection with the provision of the Services to its customers under these terms and conditions shall not exceed £200.
We will not collect any information about individuals, except where it is specifically and knowingly provided by them.
LET Chauffeurs shall use all reasonable endeavors to get to your collection point and to your destination on time, but shall not be liable for any loss due to delays caused by road or traffic conditions beyond its control on the journey. Under no circumstances shall LET Chauffeurs be liable (in contract, tort or otherwise) for any loss of profits, business or for any indirect or consequential loss whatever.
LET Chauffeurs shall be entitled to cancel all services and provide refunds at anytime.
LET Chauffeurs may block, suspend, alter or update the booking services at any time (including without notice): (i) to make improvements to the the Booking Services (including the security of the the Booking Services and/or the Services)
LET Chauffeurs own all right, title and interest, including all related intellectual property rights, on website, services, pictures, logos, videos and no right or licence is granted to use them other than to use our services in accordance with these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions do not constitute a sale and do not convey to you any rights of ownership in or related to the website, logo, pictures, title or services, or any intellectual property rights owned by LET Chauffeurs.
LET Chauffeurs logo and the product names associated with the website and the services are trademarks of LET Chauffeurs.
All LET chauffeur prices are fixed at the time of booking. LET Chauffeurs reserve the right to review prices. Prices on website may change without notices.
You agree that LET Chauffeurs can text, email clients/ users for extra services provided by LET Chauffeurs and other reasons.
